Balcony Update
Plants
Chrysanthemums (Yellow Daisies)
Yellow daisy-like flowers in a pot. Currently looking a bit stressed with some leaf browning and spent blooms. Need full sun, regular watering, and deadheading to keep flowering.
Photinia 'Red Robin'
Young glossy evergreen shrub with attractive red new growth. Tough and well-suited for balcony conditions.
Rhododendron
Large healthy bush with glossy serrated leaves. Prefers partial shade and acidic soil. Looking vigorous.
Location

Balcony — potted plants on the railing.

Notes

Nice mix of flowering and structural plants added to the balcony collection. Chrysanthemums will benefit from deadheading and consistent moisture. Photinia and Rhododendron look healthy and established.

First Planting
Plants
Red Begonias
Bright red flowers with some darker foliage. Vibrant and eye-catching.
Pink/Peach Begonias
Softer pink and peach blooms. Beautiful contrast with the reds.
Setup

Long rectangular plastic planter mounted on a decorative black metal railing around a tree trunk. Dark soil, well-watered. Located near a paved path. (Front yard)

Notes

Nice vibrant display! The mix of red and softer pink/peach colors looks great together. Some lower leaves showing minor stress (possibly from heat or transplanting).

Additional Plantings
Plants

Tall upright spikes with dense clusters of small buds/flowers. Some pink blooms visible. Healthy serrated green leaves. Planted in a brown rectangular trough-style planter clamped to the railing.
Location

Front yard — patio area near the entrance. Veronica planter clamped to dark metal railing.
